Traveller 1
This is the first of a series of ten abstract paintings that I'm in process of creating. They are based on the idea that a being is always traveling as they live, and that much travel is in the mind. Dreaming of places we were or places we'd like to be. These travels can be continued once we are no longer alive, in memory.
There are many intricate details and I imagine displaying in a place that would give you time to study it and lose yourself. I'm painting this series in honour of my late aunt, she was a real thinker and I'm grateful to carry many memories of her.
