You Complete Me
Welcome to The Opal Door collaboration project. When I started the Opal Door it was with the intent to build community with fellow artists. Disability and illness have forced me into increasingly strict isolation, and this is my solution to the accessibility barriers I face.
In this project I use non activated water soluble mediums and permanent waterproof ink to create mini compositions. I leave the activation to you. I sign my name and hand print all the directions, so that you can complete the pictures. And I leave space for you to add any details you like. I ask that you photograph and share with me. And use the hashtag #youcompleteme so I can track progress and witness our collaboration.
I've discovered a way to construct the books from the papers used in my annual event #paintitblack
There are options for what type of art you'd like, and the size of the booklet. I’ve also included a form option so you can customize it however you wish.
