Burton Wetland Tryptich
A drive down my little mountain road leads you to the most magical little marsh. There's an old campground and historical site in dear Burton, and the Wetland conservation and trail winds from the campground to the abandoned graveyard. The views are completely spectacular as you can see from this early winter study.
This is the view standing on the trail at the base of the rise to the campground. Looking south, with the midday sun barely above the ridge. It's bright and steals the middle from trees, casting long shadows.
