Dream

$75.00

This jellyfish reminds me of a Tiffany lamp. While I was working on it I kept thinking about Bob Burridge. He's an abstract painter I like to watch on YouTube, and he loves to talk about colours. Light against dark is his often quotable phrase. Here I utilized his techniques in colour to make that yellow and blue jump out at you.

This is a deep dark high pressure environment and look at the gem it produced! All the best things happen in the dark.

40.64 cm X30.48cm or 16”x12”

This painting is on a pro grade canvas board. I can't say what archival qualities it has, as the backing boards and glue are not always acid free. Because of this, the art is greatly reduced. I have lesser quality boards in the archive that are ten and fifteen years old, they are well preserved. Will they last 100 years? Likely.
