Likely Dragons

$7,474.00

An expressive marvel! This painting came about by making random marks until it felt finished. I was calling it Whodo in memory of visiting the famous Hoodoos in Alberta. A trip my kids and I will never forget. I adore the all the elements of this piece and feel the strength of those jutting pillars amongst the wild jumble.

And yet that title didn't encompass the feeling of hope and promise. I changed the title when I was asked if I meant to put dragons in it. I didn't, yet it's likely there's dragon shapes in most of my work. So a new title is given!

Painted with acrylic paint on watercolour paper, this one is my very largest painting to date. The composition is so vibrant when I was photographing it a Bumble bee kept landing on it. Perhaps he thought he could get some pollen!

106.68 cm X 149.86 cm or 42”x59”

The painting is mural sized and this listing is for the painting only. It's shipped or delivered, rolled in a tube. I do not offer framing on this piece and recommend custom framing by a professional framer.
